【摘要】:Thinflexiblecards(TFC),thesubjectofthisInternationalStandard,areusedtoautomatethecontrolsforaccesstogoodsorservicessuchasmasstransit,highwaytollsystems,carparks,vouchers,storedvalue,etc.Fortheseapplications,datacanbewrittenand/orreadbymachinesusingvariousrecordingtechniquessuchasmagneticstripe,opticalcharacterrecognition(OCR),barcode,etc.ThispartofISO/IEC15457specifiesthetestmethodsandproceduresrequiredtocarryoutmeasurementsofthemagneticstripeandencodingcharacteristicsofthinflexiblecards.Manyofthestandardmethodsavailableforcheckingphysicalpropertiesofbasematerialsareintendedtobeappliedtosamplescutfromcontinuousmaterialorlargesheets.However,alltestmethodsgivenherein,unlessexplicitlystatedotherwise,applytofinishedcards.Thetestmethodsdescribedaretobeperformedonseparatesamples.Itisnotintendedthatanyindividualcardshouldpassthroughmorethanonetestprocedure,unlessexplicitlystated.AcceptancecriteriaarenotcoveredbythispartofISO/IEC15457.
