【摘要】:Themechanicalpropertiesevaluatedbythistestmethodprovidethefollowing:Dataforuseindevelopingmodificationfactorsfortheallowabledesignpropertiesoffire-retardanttreatedlumberwhenusedatornearroomtemperatures(see6.3).Dataforuseindevelopingmodificationfactorsforallowabledesignpropertiesoffire-retardanttreatedlumberwhenexposedtoelevatedtemperaturesandhumidity(see6.4).Data(optional)foruseinmodifyingthesefactorsforsizeeffectswhenfire-retardanttreatedlumberisusedatornearroomtemperatureandwhenexposedtoelevatedtemperaturesandhumidity(see6.5).Datafromthefirsttwoproceduresinthistestmethodofevaluationareindicativeonlyforthatspecies.Note18212;Theresultsofthethreelistedspecies(Southernpine,Douglasfir,andeitherwhitespruceoraSpruce/Firmixture)maybeusedtogethertomakeinferenceonuntestedwoodspeciesbecausethethreetestedspeciesrepresentthefullspectrumofexpectedtreatability.Datafromtheoptionalthirdpartofthisthree-partmethodofevaluationareindicativeforallspeciesbecauseitisprimarilyusedtoassesssizeeffects.1.1Thistestmethodcoversproceduresforobtainingdatatoassesstheinitialadjustmentstoallowabledesignstressesforlumbertreatedwithcandidatecommercialfire-retardant(FR)formulationsandfurtherproceduresforobtainingdatatoassesstheeffectofextendedexposuretoelevatedtemperatureof66x00B1;2x00B0;C(150x00B1;4x00B0;F).1.2Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
