【摘要】:ThispartofIEC60749providesatestprocedurefordeterminingtheabilityofsemiconductordevicesandcomponentsand/orboardassembliestowithstandmechanicalstressesinducedbyalternatinghighandlowtemperatureextremes.Permanentchangesinelectricaland/orphysicalcharacteristicscanresultfromthesemechanicalstresses.ThistestmethodisingeneralaccordwithIEC60068-2-14but,duetospecificrequirementsofsemiconductors,theclausesofthisstandardapply.Thistestmethodappliestosingle,dualandtriplechambertemperaturecyclingandcoverscomponentandsolderinterconnectiontesting.Insinglechambercycling,theloadisplacedinastationarychamberandisheatedorcooledbyintroducinghot,ambientorcoldairintothechamber.Indualchambercycling,theloadisplacedonamovingplatformthatshuttlesbetweenstationarychambersmaintainedatfixedtemperatures.Intriplechambertemperaturecycling,theloadismovedbetweenthethreechambers.
