【摘要】:Thispracticeprovidesinformationontheresistancetocycliclaboratoryaging.1.1Thesepracticescoverthedeterminationoftheresistanceofadhesivestocyclicacceleratedserviceconditionsbyexposingbondedspecimenstoconditionsofhighandlowtemperaturesandhighandlowrelativehumidities.Theextentofdegradationisdeterminedfromchangesinstrengthpropertiesasaresultofexposuretothetestconditions(Note1).Itisrecognizedthatnoacceleratedprocedurefordegradingmaterialscorrelatesperfectlywithactualserviceconditions,andthatnosingleorsmallgroupoflaboratorytestconditionswillsimulateallactualserviceconditions.Consequently,caremustbeexercisedintheinterpretationanduseofdataobtainedinthispractice.Thetestcondition,thenumberofcyclesofthetestconditiontobeused,theparticularstrengthpropertytobeusedtodeterminetheextentofdegradation,andwhethertestspecimensortestpanelsaretobeused,isspecifiedinthematerialspecification.Note18212;Thesepractices/conditionsareintendedforusewithspecimensdescribedintheapprovedASTMstrengthtestmethodsforadhesivesasfollows:TestMethodsD897,D903,D906,D950,D1002,D1062,andMethodD1344.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
